Stone Roofs

We perform stone roofing for private homes, residential structures, historic, rustic and religious buildings:

• Flat roof in natural stone (granite and / or marble)
• Pitched roofs in natural stone (granite and / or marble)

Flat roofs can then become roof gardens and real zen corners of the house thanks to the insertion of our authentic Swiss stones.

Floors

Outdoor floors can be accomplished with several types of natural stone products:

• slabs of various sizes, thickness and processing that vary depending on the use
• irregular elements to create a natural stone mosaic paving
• natural stone cubes for a more traditional and rough paving (cobblestone)
• longer natural stone cubes (called “bowl stones”) for a rough and noble paving, similar to cobblestones but with longer elements

Wall caps, windowsills and thresholds

We make natural stone wall caps, window sills and thresholds in various sizes and finishes:

• Granite wall caps and marble wall caps
• Granite windowsills and marble window sills
• Granite thresholds and marble thresholds

Each product is customizable.

Load-bearing stone walls

The load-bearing walls can be made of massive stone elements for a more modern and elegant construction, or smaller stone elements to be assembled for a rustic effect.

The load-bearing elements of a granite building can be rough or processed.

The advantage of using granite or gneiss for load-bearing elements is that these stones have an exceptionally high compressive strength, which is considerably higher than that of concrete or brick.

Columns

Natural stone columns are a timeless architectural element.

Granite columns, as well as marble columns, can be a support for a porch, a decorative garden feature or a monument. They can be made in block or covered only.

The stone columns can be inserted both in a classic building and in a more modern one because they are able to enhance any type of environment thanks to the various possible surface finishes and the different types of stones available.

Terraces and balconies

Granite terraces and balconies are especially valued for their durability and weather resistance, as well as their infinite beauty.

We make terraces and balconies with our various authentic Swiss natural stones in infinite sizes and surface finishes.

Terraces and balconies made with natural stone become an oasis of peace to be enjoyed all year round.

Stairs, steps and ramps

Natural stone stairs can take a variety of shapes, and can be made with:

• solid granite treads
• ramp staircase covered with granite steps and granite risers (also called granite frontals)
• cantilever staircase covered with granite steps finished above and below
  spiral staircase with granite steps and risers

You can also choose to frame the steps with skirting boards of the same stone or a different stone.

In addition to granite stairs, you can also make granite ramps:

• solid granite ramps
• ramps covered with granite slabs

Parapets and balustrades

Natural stone parapets and balustrades are not only intended to protect people from falling, but are also true decorative elements.

The choice of making the parapets and balustrades in granite or marble is often due to the fact that these stones provide a very high resistance, are functional as they do not require much maintenance and elegant.
