From May 1 to 5, 1985, the very first building fair in Ticino was held, organized by Granit Expo Maurino SA (now Immo Maurino SA) owned by Marzio Maurino.

The aim of the organization of this fair was to allow the population to discover the various Ticino companies (and not only) in the building sector and, at the same time, to give the companies the opportunity to introduce themselves. In fact, the fair was a success in which several companies participated and visitors were able to wander through the various stands free of charge.

However, the following year it was decided to rename Granit Expo Maurino SA in Immo Maurino SA changing the company purpose from event organization to property management (see Our history).
